Vista Residences Hill Series in Baguio City

30 April 2017

Popularly known as "The Summer Capital of the Philippines", "City of Pines" or whatever it is, Baguio City will always be my favorite city here in the Philippines. Baguio City is my home. I was born here and I grew up here and it will still be forever in my heart.

Well, what's not to love about the City of Pines? Everybody can enjoy the lush pine forest and the year-round cool climate of Baguio. Ha, you can definitely wear a jacket without being judge as "paporma lang kahit naiinitan" in this tropical country. It has the best thrift shopping places. When I say thrift, you can buy a branded and authentic clothing for as low as PhP 5.00 only. No, I am not kidding here. If you are lucky enough, you can even buy an original Louis Vuitton bag or Louboutin shoes for PhP 50.00. With its numerous food hubs, it is definitely a food trip paradise to all foodies out there. Yes, you can get your tummy filled with just PhP 25.00 for an ulam and kanin.

It has the best schools and universities too. The city has grown to be one big community of learning. Thus, it was dubbed as the educational hub of the North. Although my school days are over and I have already earned my bachelor's degree and master's degree in the city, I can say that I got the best education here. Paying only a quarter of the tuition rate of most schools in the metropolis, enrolling in any Baguio school will also give you an advantage — most of the universities and colleges are accredited, thus, they are at par with more popular schools in the big Manila cities (at a cheaper cost). Education here is indeed of quality.

Oh Baguio, you are quite a charmer!

I know you want to study and perhaps live here too; maybe you have considered buying a home in this cool city.

Ladies and gentleman, introducing the Vista Residences "Hill Series" in Baguio City. If you are still unconvinced, here is why you should consider Vista Residences "Hill Series".

The Location

Vista Brenthill is a 3,000 sqm located in an exclusive enclave on Yangco road and it is easily accessed by both public and private transportation. The location, while quieter and greener, is very near Session and Leonard Wood Roads, and across the expansive Brent International School campus. The soon to be launched Vista Pinehill will come up on close to 4,000 sqm along Outlook Drive surrounding the lush pine forest.

Both Vista Brenthill and the Vista Pinehill is strategically and conveniently located close to the Summer Capital's main landmarks and tourist attractions. Vista Brenthill is a short ride from Baguio Cathedral, Burnham Park, Teacher’s Camp and the Pink Sisters while Camp John Hay and the Baguio Country Club are an easy ten-minute drive from Vista Pinehill – which is even closer to the Botanical Gardens and Mines View Park. The location make them wonderful and convenient vacation homes.

A Condo Living that Suites Your Needs

The Vista Hill Series homes are designed to be both a home to escape to and a vacation house to relax in. Both are carefully styled to mimic the "vintage Baguio architecture". Whilst it is known to many that the Americans had a huge impact in the development of Baguio and it is very evident by the yet graceful log cabins loved by so many American architects.

Vista Brenthill is a 10 storey mid-rise tower and will house three lower ground floors where the main lobby, an inner garden atrium, and a function hall will be the venues for residents to meet, greet, and gather. The top floor will be given over to a roof deck with gardens and hidden nooks where residents can enjoy the beautiful weather, the panorama and pine-scented air. Both towers will offer sauna – spa, gym for the health buffs and multi-purpose function rooms for hosting social events. There will be basement parking with elevator access to all the upper floors, a guarded reception area, CCTV in all the common areas, as well as fire, smoke alarms and prevention systems.

The Vista Hill Series towers will be a collection of studio apartments and go beyond being magnificent condos in ideal locations. They are investments that will appreciate over time. Beyond this, Vista Residences offers a broad selection of leasing services designed as proactive solutions for unit owners looking to lease out their units.

Bear in mind that you are in control of what home you'll buy. Don't settle for second best when you can have the perfect one by simply being very discerning about your decisions.

We're talking about serious investments here. And when it comes to investment, time is our single most valuable resource. Aside from delivering on time, the quality of work the developer deliver. Of course, nobody wants condo units with leaking sewage pipes from the floors above, within a few years from turnover. And you wouldn't want to see cracks everywhere on your walls soon after you get your unit, right?

At Vista Residences, every space is designed with creative and practical space planning. Function, design and the building of dwellings that families can truly call a "home" is central to the company’s philosophy. The company carries with it Vista Land’s over 40 years of experience in developing vertical residences and master planned communities – integrating into every project expertise in space planning, and flair for finding the most attractive locations. Buying on a Budget

29 April 2017

Unfortunately, going on holiday isn’t just buying the plane ticket. You need to think about other things as well. What will you wear? Where will you stay? What will you eat? To really get the most out of a holiday, you need to plan ahead so you can relax while you’re there. However, if you’re on a budget, it can be easier said than done. Sometimes, buying all the things you’ll need on holiday can be just as expensive as the holiday itself. So, how do you prepare for a holiday on a budget?

Plan What You Need

It’s exactly the same as when we go shopping at any other time. If you go into a shop with a clear idea of what you want, find it and leave, you’re not going to over spend. If you go into a shop and just browse everything, you’re likely to leave with things you don’t need. Make a list of the clothes you need to take. For example, do you need sandals, a hat or sunglasses? Only take the things you know you won’t be able to get when you’re there. Things like toiletries are usually easy to come by in local stores. If not, your hotel should be able to provide you with some.

Can You Get Money Off?

If you’re on a budget, it’s important to watch what you’re spending. There are times when you may find a bargain by going through the sales racks. You can also try websites such as Ebay or Amazon where people sell their unwanted holiday items. You may find items that other people bought and never got around to wearing, so they’re virtually new at half the price. If you’ve spotted something you really like but it isn’t on sale, you might want to try and find eastbay discount codes to help lower the price.

How Will You Eat?

If you’ve booked an all-inclusive holiday, that’s not something you need to worry about. However, if you’re going self-catering, you’ll need to do some research. What do you have available in your kitchen? Is it cheaper to eat out at restaurants or buy your own groceries to cook? It’s worth contacting your hotel to find these details out in advance. They’ll also be able to tell you how far away the nearest grocery store is. Here are some tips on cooking safely, wherever you are.

Start Saving

When you go away on holiday, you want to treat yourself and your family. Perhaps that’s a meal out or a few cocktails. Maybe you want to take some souvenirs home for family or buy yourself a handbag. Whatever you’ve set your sights on, it’s important to start saving as soon as possible. You don’t want to be on holiday and having to count the pennies at every turn.

Following these tips means the weight will be lifted off your shoulders when holiday time comes around. No matter how long your holiday lasts, you should be prepared enough to enjoy it!
