Heavenly Luxury at Element Boutique Hotel

23 August 2017 Poblacion, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines

If heaven existed on earth, I think I may have just found it; a home-away-from-home where you can enjoy a little treasure tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila. This is not your ordinary boutique hotel. The Element Boutique Hotel is single-handedly redefining the concept of a contemporary and relaxed luxury boutique hotel. It's a unique accommodation style that I have never experienced before until now. I had the pleasure of staying here for two consecutive wonderful nights before covering another Philippine region down south of Luzon. So sit back, relax, and let me tell you why Element Boutique has jumped straight to the top of my travel hot list.

The Location

Elemet Boutique Hotel is perfectly nestled in the metro's hippest hotspot in the heart of Manila's central business district. It's just a stone's throw away from from eclectic pubs, restaurants, convenience stores, shopping centers, and a lot more.  Everything is so close to each other that it is possible to have a bar and food crawl in one fun night.

The Arrival

Dazed and bedraggled after a delayed flight, and an exhausting, yet a fun-filled media trip from Davao, I invited my friend Lariza to crash in with me for a night at the hotel. After the taxi driver misleadingly whisked as of from the airport to the puzzling streets of Makati, we decided to drop-off and find the hotel on foot. Thanks to Google Maps. We arrived at an ungodly hour on a Monday morning at the entrance of Element Boutique Hotel, but a young man in his early thirties gladly welcomed us with a smile and kind words. His personal touch and assistance was much appreciated on our arrival.

The Instagram Worthy Boutique Hotel

Element Boutique Hotel is a Franco English owned hotel that is made up of just fourteen rooms and suites. The hotel is a marriage of both architectural vision and warm welcome, designed to perfection to cater for any kind of travellers - luxury hunters and romantic couples alike. The whole property was carefully conceived to articulation of simple elegance with a splash of modern composition.

The Penthouse Suite

There's nothing more thrilling than opening your hotel room for the first time. It always comes with a combination of excitement and suspense. During my stay at Element Boutique Hotel, I got to stay in the Penthouse Suite and it was the Element's premium suite. The room was imposingly huge! The suite has a spacious lounge area, a crimson blood red luxurious modern sofa, a little working or dining turf, and a heavenly cloud-like bed. It is equipped with a rotatable flat-screen high definition television, which you can turn around if you want to watch TV while on the bed.

The whole penthouse suite was truly heavenly - straight out of an interior magazine. I felt like the cat that got the cream.  Light, bright and airy, the space has been immaculately designed. All of the art, the added touch of books, and the splash of live green plants were carefully brewed and it felt as if I were staying in a dreamy penthouse condo you see only in Hollywood films.

The best part about my penthouse suite is the spacious bathroom - my favorite of all by the way. It has a his and hers sink, and a relaxing rain shower. The bath pool was totally cosmic; I spent two hours indulging in a warm bubble bath and it was totally rejuvenating.

Price: Penthouse Suites starts at $176 (approximately PhP 9,000) per night. Other room rates starts at around $88 (approximately PhP 4,500) per night. You may check the latest price in: Booking.com | Agoda | Hotels.com | Expedia or read reviews on TripAdvisor. For inquiries and other information, you may visit their official website. The Restaurant & Bar

Element's Restaurant and Bar is located at the first floor just next to the hotel's little reception area. Perfectly in keeping, meal times at the restaurant are totally bespoke. The charming cooks are happy to whip up anything you request from the menu providing they have the ingredients. I ask for one of their scrumptious meals which they cooked to perfection and creatively served it. The meal was above and beyond restaurant standard - a home-style comfort food meal to boot.

The Verdict

My stay at Element Boutique Hotel could not have been more perfect. It's a place where you can feel totally relaxed, casual, and at home whilst enjoying luxury accommodation in a truly spectacular interiors. To have all of this on such a small and intimate scale really is something special.

A stay at Element Boutique is an incredibly unique experience and is now one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. I cannot wait to go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, intimate, and unique luxury accommodation in Makati City
